This study examines how Uttarakhand’s organic agricultural products, rooted in indigenous practices like Barahnaja mixed cropping and orchard farming, contribute to environmental sustainability, rural livelihoods, and the green economy. Relying on secondary data from peer-reviewed research, policy reports, and institutional case studies, the analysis highlights that organic farming improves soil fertility, biodiversity, and climate resilience while generating income through high-value crops, medicinal and aromatic plants, and eco-tourism. However, barriers including certification costs, weak infrastructure, and labor shortages constrain scalability. The findings suggest that integrating indigenous knowledge with institutional support and digital market innovations can strengthen Uttarakhand’s role as a model for organic-based rural development. Policy priorities should focus on certification reform, cold-chain infrastructure, and capacity building to align organic agriculture with the Sustainable Development Goals and ensure long-term ecological and economic resilience.
Anurodh Prabhakar Anurag Singh Copyright (c) 2025 2025-09-15 2025-09-15 12 9 01 13 10.53573/rhimrj.2025.v12n9.001 The Impact of Family Environment on the Social and Emotional Development of Children of Working Parents: A Study of Muzaffarpur District https://mail.rhimrj.co.in/index.php/rhimrj/article/view/598
This study analyzes the impact of the family environment on the social and emotional development of children of working parents in Muzaffarpur district. As parents—especially mothers—are becoming more active in professional life, the processes of childcare and upbringing are also undergoing changes. The research adopted a descriptive survey method. A total of 120 children (aged 8 to 12 years) were included in the study, with an equal number of boys and girls, all having working parents. The findings reveal significant differences in children’s emotional security, social behavior, and parental involvement, depending on family structure, parents’ work schedules, and availability. This study suggests strategies to strengthen family relationships and ensure balanced development of children in dual-income households.

Abstract in Hindi Language:

Sandhya Kumari Kusum Kumari Copyright (c) 2025 2025-09-15 2025-09-15 12 9 14 22 10.53573/rhimrj.2025.v12n9.002 Realism and Social Consciousness in Premchand’s Novels https://mail.rhimrj.co.in/index.php/rhimrj/article/view/600
The novels of Munshi Premchand have been a powerful medium for expressing social reality in Hindi literature. Through his works, he not only portrays direct experiences of rural and urban life on the page but also reveals the voices of social inequality, exploitation, and awakening that emerge from those experiences. This study analyzes Premchand’s realistic approach and the embedded social consciousness with reference to Godan, Gaban, Karmabhumi, and Rangbhumi. Using qualitative textual analysis and contemporary critiques, the paper shows how Premchand, through his narrative art, gave literary space to rural economic relations, caste inequality, the condition of women, and nationalist consciousness. As a result, it becomes clear that Premchand’s writings are not only historical documents but also provide relevant guidance for today’s social discourse.

Abstract in Hindi Language:

Kiran Joshi Copyright (c) 2025 2025-09-15 2025-09-15 12 9 23 28 10.53573/rhimrj.2025.v12n9.003
